St.Nicholas' Church is the Church of England Parish Church of Wigginton. It is part of the United Benefice of Haxby and Wigginton.

There has been a Church in Wigginton since before the Norman Conquest, although the present building is Victorian. It a small and intimate church seating around 100, so we are frequently fairly full.
The 9.30 am Service has a regular congregation of around 40 and is a mix of ages.

A Sunday School called Bright Sparks runs alongside this service. Visiting children always welcome. A very friendly congregation.

The 11.15 Service has a small (about 12) mainly elderly members who prefer a quiet said service and a good sermon.
We have strong links with young families in the area and hold a number of events for them during the year.

Every third Sunday there is a Morning Worship service (no communion) at 9.30am

On Tuesday during term time there is a Tots and Toddlers service at 10.00am

Every Thursday there is a said communion service at 10.30 am

On the 2nd Saturday of each month there is a Healing Service at 10.00 am
